Right folks, we've got an opportunity to chuck some questions at Wayne Brannon, president and MD of Chevrolet Europe.

So rather than us ask boring stuff, what questions do you want answered? Questions in by 11am, if you please. smile

(Posts made after 11am will not be counted but may still be charged...)

Why can't we have a RHD Camaro officially imported.

"Will the European Ampera have any significant improvement in build quality (shut lines, paint finish, interior plastics) as compared to the currently US only Volt?"

How disappointed was he when Top Gear chose a Kia for their new "Reasonably Priced Car"? (Assuming he was in charge then).

Seeing as the important question has already been suggested.

How about when are we going to see a diesel range extended hybrid? Along that vein, any plans for a coupe volt with a bit more oomph?

or a Camaro/Camaro SS in RHD, or several other cars i would seriously consider buying

As far as price goes, I would just want parity/equivalence with the US (allowing for differences in warranty terms, and so forth).

I'm a massive yank-o-phile but i can't live with LHD

What are his plans for a UK wide dealer network/support for US Chevys rather than ex-Daewoos? I think there is only BM in Manchester left now...?

Why don't you see the positive effect of importing and selling RHD versions of the Camaro and 'Vette would have for the brand as a whole which would hopefully justify the costs?

Are there any plans for RHD versions of said cars?

p.s.put me on the list for a Camaro if a RHD version is done, please.

Yes the RHD thing!! There is a fair market here they're missing... If you dont get a reasonable answer, I'd probably suggest to them that they're not really serious about their brand over here wink

Why do there UK TV adverts show cars that people who like cars would buy because they want them, but their UK dealerships sell cars people need.

Why haven't they released any hot versions of the Cruze to capitalise on the halo effect of their BTCC race car?

Has anyone asked about a RHD muscle car yet? I really would like one of those.

Is the future electric or is it hybrid? (i.e. are you backing the Toyota's or the Renault-Nissan's?)

How likely is it that alternative power trains such as fuel cell will be available to consumers in the next 5-10 years? Is Chevrolet investing in R&D for this and other 'alternative powered' engines?

Dont Australia get RHD Cameros? If so whats the problem with us getting them as well. Or are they converted when they land in Australia in which case the tooling/parts already exists surely?

Do you think that trying to apply American virtues to what were rebadged European market cars damaged the brand beyond repair?

Why does the UK public need Chevrolet? What can Chevrolet offer British buyers that we can't get elsewhere?

Why does your UK marketing feature all the very worst cars you make when we are universally known as one of the biggest advocates of enthusiatic driving?
