Windscreen rubber trim replacement

Does anyone know whether you have to remove the windscreen to replace the rubber trim surround? Or is the glass bonded to the windsceen frame and then the trim bonded to the glass? - which presumably would mean I could remove the old trim and fit a new one with the glass in situ.

I changed it on mine - you remove the old trim and fit a new one with the glass in situ. I would suggest to get someone to help you, specially to heat it while you are stretching the trim around top left/right bends in order to get a perfect fit. I used "KENT Quick Seal Black" to glue it on.

Yes, I got mine from TMS (www.tvrgear.com), but I’m sure your local dealer will get one for you. It is called “Windscreen Seal” and if you want to replace the bottom part too (where the windscreen meets the bonnet), that part is called “Windscreen Finish Seal”.
