NEC Classic car show!

Hi

Just for interest who going to the NEC Classic Car on the 11th 12th or 13th.

Gandalf has his 450SE on the TVRCC stand and I will also be on it on the 12th & 13th!

If anybody is coming along please come and say hello!

Wedge owners will be made very welcome on the Lotus Excel/Eclat/Elite stand, where Oliver Winterbottom will be in attendance on Friday & Saturday.

Thats good to hear. I might well be popping over, as I`d like to get his contact details for an article I have planned on his TVR involvement in the 80`s.

With my experience of last year, Friday is just as busy as the other two days but longer as the show is open till 8.00 pm on Friday!

Hall 4 Stand C80

After more hours cleaning than I want to remember, I could have driven to Fort William and back in less time which would have been much more fun over the weekend, but at last the 450 is ready for the NEC on Thursday - may see you there, but do come and have a nose at the car whether I am there or not - oh the stickers, well I am just back from a big Halloween party in Blackpool and the stand manager asked me to leave them on for the show, so not my idea.
(Thursday is build up day not open to the public until Fri - before anyone gets excited)

I'm seriously looking at coming down on Saturday, and the presence of Mr Winterbottom has made me think about taking my centre console cover along for him to sign! Well, if cobra and Mustang owners can have their glove box lids signed by Mr Shelby

Am I to understand that as club members we can get a discount on the ticket price?

Yep if you vist the TVRCC site there's a news item on the first page that links to a members page that gives you the code.

Nothing to do with us, obviously the organisers see the Friday as a premium day. (The higher price and a weekday means less people)
