porsche 944s rear child seat

hi got a 944s but kids cant ride in it does anyone know if there is a childs seat that fits because every booster seat ive trid is to wide i know porsche do one but to much is there a booster seat that fits from mothercare ect ??????

My littl'un (18 months) rides in the front in a Britax Prince Alex carseat on the rare occassions he travels in my car (1987 Lux). No airbag to worry about!

I have the rear seats permanently folded to make it a two seater with a load area that will swallow big stuff like my paraglider.

There's an OEM 944 seat on eBay at the moment.

The cheapest booster Halfords sells fits fine. I think it is about £9.

Another vote for the Halfrauds one, was the best fit in mine.

What bugs me is that the seats were designed to hold/protect kiddies long before booster seats arrived, and kids are actually much safer in the back without them! As soon as my kids hit 135cm they were binned

To bump and old topic. What are people using for little ones in the back seats of their 924/944/968s. I have a 944 with 3 point rear belts and need a solution for a almost 2yr old so more than a booster seat. Ideally would like to buy new so what current models fit?

I`ve got a concord Ultimax in the back of my 993 so reckon is should work in a 944.

The model is a couple of years old so hard to find them new now but I managed to get one new from Amazon the other month.

Forward facing 9-18kgs

Very easy to fit.

Just need to slide the front seat forward to give the guy some leg room. Not great if you need to take a passenger but your`ll have that problem regardless of the seat you fit.

Also bought a 2nd hand Porsche Zoom booster seat (off ebay) for when my son out grows the Ultimax.

My sons been in the monza nova since October last year, he was just over 2years 6m at the time. It does say ages 3 up but I think it's just a guide as how can they say for certain that at exactly 3 years old he is safe, but at 2 years 364 days he's unsafe? I think the 15kg guide is more useful and he was15kg by that stage.

Trip to halfords tonight and not a single seat would even fit the rear seat (group 1 or 2). Most are far too long for the back seat that is very shallow, height of seat buckle also looks to be a problem even if i can fit a seat that fits. Looks like my son will be upfront and my wife in the back..

Brittax Price or Prinz fits. Bizarrely, the Recaro model that fitted when my daughter was a baby was carried a similar name.
