I wonder if anyone can help me figure out what is wrong with the heating in my KA,
I get no heat from it and when turning the dial 1,2,3,4- it only blows out on number 4 and that is always cold.
My partner thinks its the heating valve that needs replacing. If it is this, is it easy to replace my self?
Can anyone help?
Thanks

Two different problems here

1. No heat, the heater valve is probably jammed, need to drain coolant to change.

2. Fan working on speed 4 only will be the resistor pack, located within the side of the heater box which is in the passenger footwell behind the dash.

He is correct. I'm about to change the heater control valve on the wife's Fiesta Mk.4. However, if you keep the hoses upright when you remove them, you won't lose much coolant so shouldn't need to change the coolant.

Good Luck!
