Aerial question

I'm using a hidden aerial and was planning on running this across the front rollbar section before this is trimmed.

Before I do this, has anyone run a aerial like this before? Am concerned once it's there it'll pick up interference (regardless of whether I'll use the radio or hear it when running! )

I tried all sorts of things on my Lotus and found the only thing that worked for me was a pair of powered dipole aerials stuck to the windscreen(used for digital) were the only type that worked 99% of the time ironically they weren't so good at picking up digital signal but FM was fine.
I think you will have trouble running the aerial along the roll cage as this is effectivly a "ground"
and will probably kill the signal.
Why not do a "dry run" and test before you go this route?

Thanks. I've done a dry run and it gets signal, but not with the engine running. Concern was that once running it would cause interference.

Running round the window frame is probably a better idea, cheers.
