Can you let us know whatthe recipes are like when it turns up?

I might order one but if its going to be full of his hugely complex recipes I probably wont bother as I dont have a cement mixer, blow torch or a particle accelerator!

I love these kind of books- not necesarily for complete recipes but for inspiration and technique ideas. + they are nice to look through.

Thanks for the heads up- its not the big one (with RRP £150) but that wouldn fit on my book shelf anyway. still a great bargain though. I've just ordered mine

I see the Larousse Wine book is £15 as well. Anyone got this and can give an opinion?

I have this from a while back - wasn't 15 quid though , but I suppose it was a present - recipes are mental for the home cook but its a good coffee table read.

This one's good value with lots of photos and clear instructions on how to cook the food.

The recipes included are those used for the *staff meals* at the legendary elBulli restaurant. They're mostly very simple but special enough for you to want to experiment and have a go yourself.

Can't really go wrong at the price.
