Dedicated HC Sound System - help please.
Discussion
Afternoon,
As the title suggests I am building a Dedicated HC, the room is about 20' x 10', will be painted mainly black with black devore velvet towards the front of the room to kill any light reflections etc, im taking it fairly seriously, but not on a huge budget!
As im impatient and want to get my room completed ASAP I have started things on a smaller budget than I originally planned. The Projector etc is all sorted for now, I now need to look into sound systems.
Currently I have the PJ set up with a £200 Samsung all in one 5.1 DVD system which I was previously using in another room. This is great for a living room where you watch the occasional DVD, but in a dedicated room I want something with more punch.
Currently I only have about £500 to spend on the whole lot sound wise, which I know in real terms is only enough to buy a decent AV receiver let alone the whole lot.
Lets use this page from Richer sounds as a reference http://www.richersounds.com/information/home-cinem...
So I could purchase something along the lines of their £500 set right away, is there going to be much of a difference between my current set up?
Or would you advise I sit tight and save for a system with some KEF's or something?
Thanks in advance.

Personally I would look at 2nd hand kit...
You could get a used Onkyo/Denon amp for a couple of hundred and i'm sure you could find a set of used floor standing speakers for under £300 (or even get a new set of Jamo A102s for a couple of hundred quid).
That way you can upgrade individual parts when budget allows..
