This is about the 996 gear-knob and boot assembly that seems to be the norm for central gearshifts..I don't like it!
I DO like the 997, but the rub is that that boot is different, so - any bright ideas (or even a wholly different idea)?
I had thought of trying to get a 996 boot and a 997 gearknob and try to swapsy over...but that will rush me big money cos the boot and knob are ususally sold as one!
Suggestions please!!!
