So the owners of Buddh are going to have to consider changing the kerbs at the GP circuit because Massa broke his suspension twice, not on the kerbs but on the high sausage kerb that lies behind the main kerb. From what I saw of Massa particularly during qualy he had a job keeping it on the track. In clubmans racing you are up before the clerk, how come they don't reinforce that rule in F1.

I agree - use the track first, run onto the kerbs if you're a little off-line, but if you go over the kerbs then tough.
TBH I hate the design of the actual kerbs these days - they're too smooth and don't offer any penalty for using them - so they become part of the natural track. What happened to the saw-tooth design they used to have which would at least eat your tyres and cause wheelspin?

If two drivers had done it once I might consider it a track issue. They didn't - it's a Massa issue. Nobody else was going anywhere near them. Keep the sausages it'll teach them all not to cheat and stay on the black stuff.

if you compare this with the 'champions wall' (Canada) nobody has talked about moving that and look how many people have clubbed that hard?
as said, what are the boundaries of the cct? maybe they should be replaced with a wall?

Agreed. They should put a wall on the white line of every track. The drivers would soon learn not to take the piss. as said, what are the boundaries of the cct? maybe they should be replaced with a wall?
Far too many areas on modern tracks where the run offs mean little or no penalty.
