cutting out

My car keeps cutting out as soon as the revs drop down to tick over. You can start the car again and it will idle OKish,does seem a little slow though.

Is this likely to be caused by a tick over to low or more, as I say it ticks over OK but when dropping from higher revs to tick over it just cuts out.

You could screw out the idle stop alittke to increase them but I would hook it up to the computer and see what your TP are set too before anything else possible they might have moved or wearing?

yeah I guess this is the way forward, both throttle pots were changfed a few months ago.

Only problem is my lap top with a serial port died last week.

Worked perfectly, just need to set the USB port number to 1 as follows: Device Manager > Ports > Properties > Port Settings > Advanced > COM Port Number
