Hello.

Could you all stop saying "price point" when you mean "price" please? I'm sick of every "what car" thread and new car discussion reading like a poor GCSE economics essay.

Also people who say price point a lot come across as douches. So please stop.

Or keep on doing it, but it's maddening and makes me assume all the other content of your post is also part of a poor GCSE essay. Make me work to find out you're a douche, don't flag it up straight away, it takes all the cunning and stealth out of the game.

I've gone 4 years without posting here, but recently it's become impossible to lurk without belming at the screen at people* who get confused by a one dimensional value.

Thanks in advance, etc.

* I say "people", I mean douches.

Yes I have a google too. Now google "price".

It's using the phrase incorrectly that is maddening.

That's true, typing "douche" makes you look like far more of an idiot than typing "price point". hehe

I could care less already... do you douches realize there's a least worst option for the winningest colourway at that pricepoint? Going forward, if you've got a half hour we could touch base, maybe alphabetize your options but I've said it a million and a half times - you do the math

Sorry, I didn't want to use douche, but was blocked by the swear filter. Douche is often quite close to , so I thought it might do.

I chose the forum alias "Captain Muppet", which should have flagged up that I'm an idiot way before you got to the content of my post.

"Model year" is used by car manufacturers to denote the new revised version of a model, so buying the next model year car can be quite significant.

For example, the 2011 model year GTR was revised over the 2010.
They're not always released in that year either, so the 2010 model year may be released at the end of 2010.
