Why would anyone have the slightest inclination to watch a programme like this?

I don't usually feel strongly about these type of programmes, But she needs a good slap, and maybe made to work in a factory for a few years.

Considering the current economic situation, unemployment, riots etc what are they doing showing this at all.

Completely out of taste IMO.

Showing some tart spending £25k on a VIP table in some nightclub in which she stays for about ten minutes!

Nice one Channel 5 - rub it in!!

Absolutely Eric, I guess most people on here have Sky+ so I watched a documentary on a WWII operation to raid Bordeaux docks which I recorded a day or two ago followed by Tchaikovsky and a glass of single malt. Why do people watch this pap?

Especially since they watch it and then proceed to complain. There are plenty of alternative programmes that are far more edifying,

I seen it. No idea why she is doing this? In the begenning it said she is thought of as a girl who just spends daddys money and is a bit spoiled, the whole program revolved round her spending money and acting like a spoiled baby so not sure what the point is?!

I don't. I have half an idea it'll be a spoilt little rich b***h who spends daddy's money like water. I met enough of those people in my career, I have no wish to see them on TV as well.

Precisely. One didn't need to look at the programme to know what it was going to be about. I was checking the TV listings last night and saw it on the schedule. My instant reaction was "that's not for me".

Instead, I watch Autumnwatch and a documentary on Sputnik. Much more to my taste.

Curt Kobain: hard to believe he passed nearly 18 years ago.

Some of the late night music programmes on BBC4 are superb - last year they had a fantastic series on British rock bands.

Is it true the BBC are looking to cut funding or cancel BBC4?

It was one of the options which they looked at but I think it is safe for the moment. It is probably the best TV channel of them all, at the moment.
