Ok - which is a fair price.

It seems to me that once you apply the TVR factor to anything the price just rockets, the breakers are not the only ones, the "dealers" and parts suppliers are just as bad as each other IMO.

The problem is owners just pay what they are asked because of their passion for their cars - easy targets in other words.

I hard to gauge value. The seats are good and in short supply and anything similar from Recaro is more expensive.

But you are almost certainly going to want to retrim.

I need a set of seats for another project and the Recaros are going to cost closer to £2k but will not need trimming.

A new set of tuscan seats from tvr racing green when i last asked was £5000, now thats taking the pi_ -
you could not buy a good quality leather seat in high back for £400 and most re trimers will charge £200/£300 for a re trim ,so i dont know what you all going on about, if you cant afford them dont buy em!

Being that you can buy a nice 3 piece leather suite from DFS for £2k Then my opoinion is that all Car seat makers charging over £500 for a seat are taking the piss!! As ever nob heads are always willing to pay money to have the right brand under their arse... Bigger fool them.

Got mine for £180 the pair did not need retrimed as they are black, just a nice clean up. That was 03 so now they need a bit off tlc but they are great seats.

Not worth 900 a pair, they are used they are exposed to the elements before they get oily hands on them then shipping too, they should never be over 300 a pair. Just my thought

A new set of the Sparcos for my Tuscan were £1500 from the factory in 2005, better seat than the Tuscan ones IMHO, seem to remember the seats from the Tuscan sold for £500. Prices are about supply and demand so they will continue to ask that sort of money while people will pay it.
