i prefer the rear lights on these Griffs, are they standard because i thought they all had oblong external rear lights

These lights are not standard. Both Griffs in the picture had front & rear light mods carried out some years ago by TVR Bodyshop (no longer available from them I believe). The rears are similar to those on the SE Griffs, except that these pods are fully glassed in with no seams, unlike the SEs.
