Dim Dip Module

Hi - not a lover of this idea, but where is the dim dip module and can i just remove it?

On mine the resistors are on the bulkhead to the rear of the o/s front wheel. They’ll probably be rusty and covered in cack so might not be obvious on the first look.

This is what they (once) looked like.

I originally thought these were for the heater fan but I was soon put right (thanks Chris ) and so avoided a cock up.

I can’t see any reason why you can remove them but hang on for some of the other guys to respond before you get the wire cutters out.

The headlight dim dip module is near the fuse box in the pasenger footwell small metal black box with ribs. It just unplugs no problem.

..or it might be inside the glove box behind the carpet.

I think they are for the dimming of the dash lights

My dim dip module was tie wrapped to the wiper motor, just unplugged it and that was it, no more dim dip.

I thought that's what OP meant. TG TVR, you're not thinking of removing the relay are you?

no i wasnt after the relay, just the module. i have some new headlights with day-go rings to try....not sure whether i am going to like them yet - but the idea of running lights appeals as i am sometimes feel vulnerable to people pulling out of side junctions because they expect cars to be taller! or did i mean slower??
