I've been looking around (online only, at the moment) for a used SL600/SL65/SL55. Just saw this ad for an SL600:

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3375834.htm

The dealer states it has 'variable anti-lag'! The car is also on eBay and is described there as having a 3-stage anti-lag. Err, I don't think so, do you?! I can only think they mean it's been remapped!

Just made me shake my head and chuckle about some dealers lack of knowledge when it comes to the cars they're trying to sell.

I reckon its been mapped too, you can sometimes get software which can control the turbo boost and this can be adjusted dependent on what sort of driving you do - it could be this?

I bet the car's ridiculously fast though regardless. almost 600 torque standard, with a map it will be producing 700 torque!

i've seen it too. Apparantly it got a new grill which could be damage or someone in their ealry twinties owning it for a short period of time "upgrading" it and remapping it = loads of burn outs etc etc, it's been for sale for a while. FYI It got the old style satnav though, go for a ride in it, if it's any good then give it a go = loads of performance for the money!
