How do I remove the highlighting from search terms?

When I have searched for a thread, how do I remove the keyword highlighting?

The yellow blocks everywhere (my search term contained "the") render the topic quite unreadable!

I guess I need to removed a particular keyword from the URL - but which one?

You would remove the &hw= keyword from the URL. If one searches for Rupert Bear...

A bit of experimentation found that removing "%22the+mental" (my search term) did the trick as well!!!

Yeah, that would work as well as there's no longer a term to highlight.
