As per title really, who would you put into your teams all time line up?

As a Spurs fan my team will be a 3-4-3 as I'm struggling to find any great full backs (Hughton, Kinnear, Perryman maybe?).

GK-Pat Jennings

CB-Gary Mabbut
CB-Ledley King
CB-Graham Roberts

RM-Cliff Jones
CM-Glen Hoddle
DM-Dave Mackay
LM-Chris Waddle

CF-Gary Liniker
CF-Jurgen Klinsmann
CF-Jimmy Greaves.

Some obvious names missing. Gasgoine, Ginola, Blanchflower, Smith, Austin (lol) to name a few.

Also no Bale/Modric/VDV etc as they have yet to attain legend status.

I'd have to have Perryman and Gascoigne somewhere in that team even if we had to play with thirteen men.

Ok i'll have ago (Helping spurs not uncommon for us hehe)

My all time best West ham line up.

GK Ludek Miklosko

DF Julian Dicks
DF Alvin Martin
DF Steve Potts
DF Bobby Moore

MF Billy Bonds
MF Trevor Brooking
MF Martin Peters
MF Scott Parker

FW Paolo Dicanio
FW Geoff Hurst.

On the bench I would have Marlon Harewood and Ian Dowie - obviously not for there playing performances but they would frighten the life of anyone.

Rod.

Canaries fan here of around 20 years, so as we've spent over half of that time in the championship, not too many to catch my eye as being best ever, but i'll give it a shot, I could be a million miles off with a couple but here goes...

BRIAN GUNN

DAVE WATSON BARRY BUTLER STEVE BRUCE MARK BOWEN

DARREN EADIE MARTIN PETERS IAN CROOK DARREN HUCKERBY

CHRIS SUTTON IWAN ROBERTS

Subs
Rob Green
Rob Newman
Malky Mackay
Gary Holt
Ruel Fox
Dean Ashton
Grant Holt

Struggling at RB, i've put Dave Watson in there, but i've no idea if he could play there... If pushed for a proper RB, i'd perhaps go for either Russell Martin of the current squad, who has been awesome for the last 2 years, or maybe Marc Edworthy or Ian Culverhouse...

I was born in 1986 so my memories mainly come from 1993 onwards:

4-4-2 Diamond

GK: P. Schmeichel
RB: G. Neville
LB: D. Irwin
CB: J. Staam
CB: N. Vidic
DMC: Roy Keane
MR: Cristiano Ronaldo
ML: R. Giggs
AMC: P. Scholes
STR. W. Rooney
STR. E. Cantona

Maybe a start for RVN depending on the opposition...

I wouldn't disrespect the likes of Georgie Best as I never had the pleasure of watching him (and others) week in week out.

With the exception of Beckham on RM and Ronaldo up top, thats the same team they picked on MOTD 2 last night... great minds and all that, or, you watched it wink

The MU team I seen (I think it was on MOTD) was:

Schmeichel
Neville
Evra
Pallister
Bruce
Ronaldo
Giggs
Robson
Scholes
Rooney
Cantona

4 changes to my team? And the other 7 pretty much pick them selves.

As for Beckham being in a MUFC XI?!? Serious?!? Over Rooney, Cantona or Ronaldo? Absolutley no where near my XI!

First stab at this. May well change when I realise that I've had a brainfart and forgotten a legend.

I can't vouch for any of the players from the 70s as I didn't see many matches, so this is a very personal opinion from the 80s onwards...

Newcastle United

Keeper - Given
LB - John Beresford
CB - Albert
CB- Coloccini (or a fit steve howie)
RB - Steve Watson
LW - Beardsley
CM - Gasgoigne (pity the rest of the team was ste in those days)
CM - Batty / Rob Lee / Gary Speed / Kevin Nolan. Can't decide.
RW - James Milner - definitely at his best now, but we saw the early promise.
CF - Shearer
CF - Andy Cole

Sorry but I wouldn't have Torres in there ahead of Rush, or Fowler.

And Carragher should be somewhere at the back too.

Never tracked back. Scored one of the most fantastic goals ever, in ~ 1997 against some lithuanian / croation / czech side in the champions league. Between him and Beardsley in that position, I'd take Beardsley every time.
