I know the answer to this but just thought i run it past you lot.

Main road in Loughboroough has had a mini roundabout put on it at a busy "T" junction, so im travelling along the main road and going to turn right into the side road ajoining the roundabout, i indicate to turn right and car coming the other way along main road has NO INTENTION of giving way or slowing down, if i didnt stop on roundabout we would have collided, he then starts effing and blinding at me with window down etc.................. now pardon me but as i am on the right and its a r about its my right of way, i am correct arent I ?? obviously before the r about appeared then rights of way were very different, please feel free to abuse and flame me as you wish

You appear to have encountered the all too common knobhead.

tt coming the other way didn't notice the white circle in the road as I expect he was too busy making a phone call?

If neither of you were on the roundabout then neither of you had the right of way...

We have a mini-roundabout locally that every now and then we have a bright spark u-turning on...except it's too small so it's a three-point turn. No wonder the Highway Code discourages the behaviour.

The car to your right (past 12 o'clock) on or waiting at a roundabout has right of way over you.

Giving way to vehicles already on the roundabout takes precedence over giving way to vehicles approaching from the right but not yet on the roundabout

Surely nobody usually has right of way on entering a mini roundabout? Some have give way lines and signs but not all.
Priority is to the right and give way to anyone else on the roundabout

depends on the timing. IIRC, you have to give way to cars already on the roundabout, but if you weren't on the roundabout when he entered (but still had to stop to allow him to pass), he was in the right
