Well now winter is upon us (apparently) I have decided its time to tidy up the interior and engine bay a little.

So having discarded plenty of skin and blood removing the Seats, Dash and Doorcards and expected a quick clean up would do.

How wrong was I, I had no idea just how dirty my interior was paperbag

So plenty of elbow grease required but will be more than worth it eventually.

However the big question is what to do with the carpets confused

Im tempted to try dyeing the carpets as per a thread I read on here the question is what colour would look best????

The colour combo is the spitting image of mine in and out. So....
Any colour but that one. biggrin

Okay, honest answer now.
As it was. I thought the original Rosso red + full biscuit interior was the prettiest combination I had ever seen.
Plain to some people's taste perhaps, but if I had wanted a pimp-mobile, I would have started with a pink Cadilac.

I think the common 'rule of thumb' is "If you wouldn't use it on yourself, don't use it on your leather".
If you follow a similar approach to your non-leather bits, you can't really go wrong.

A lot of products say to test on a small area first. The back of your hand will do.
If you don't like it, the car won't either.

I have heard this said before, so tried it out on some cheap sunglass lenses, expecting it to scratch or dull the surface. It did not. Confused
