Both My Cerbera's Passed MOT Without CAT'S

Hi all just thought i would post this as so many people on here seem to have problems with emissions testing at mot time - some even being told its close with the cats in there.
When i first got my Cerb (1996 4.2) i desided to De-Cat it and after reading on here about the problems i kept the old ones for mot time - however due to a lack of time pre mot i didn't get time to re fit them and put the car through the test without them expecting to fail for other stuff anyway. Now the car did fail - but only on headlight allignment and not on emmisions as i expected - also its worth pointing out that my car obviously had its cats removed, as it has to brand new and shiny De Cat pipes in the centre of a 15 year old otherwise standard system..
My car was MOT'D in N Ireland at a government MOT Centre (Different system to the rest of the UK but should be to the same standard and is covered by the same laws etc) and when you fail you get full print out of the test results.. see below.
If you look near the top of the results it shows the actual results of the two emissions tests relevent to my car in the left hand column and the required limits the car has to be under to pass on the right.
Just for balance i have also put the results of my other Cerbera up (1997 4.2)
This one also is De Cat'd and even has a ACT SS System.(It failed for the handbreak - so at least you can see this is a UK wide problem lol.)

We have found the lambda reading is always the struggle with the standard limits but all will pass with the specific TVR limits as long as CATS are fitted and the cars running ok. There are some exceptions to these rules but generally appling to kit cars and one offs.

Any Cerb (unless it was registered as a pre-production prototype before 01/08/1995 as 99% of Cerbs are post '96) will need to run a form of Cat test, either the Vehicle specific limits for the Vehicle if it can be found in the database or the the less stringent Cat test limits if the tester cannot find the car.
