Cracked Tongue

For as long as I can remember, my tongue has had deep cracks around the side and near the front.

I understand that this may be an indication of the health of parts of my body, is anyone on here able to diagnose from a picture or recommend somewhere that can.

I get a cracked tongue when my general health is poor. Taking my medication , I am diabetic , and eating well sorts out my tongue.
Get checked up

It's called fissured tongue, is a genetic variation and completely normal.

Would a GP do that based just on my tongue? Wasnt sure if that was too much of an alternative medicine for them?
