• Seeing camera crew/mic booms, in windows/ reflections. (Straw dogs, when he is running alongside the car at the beginning)
• Seeing the almost cunningly disguised ramp they use to launch a car, almost cunningly disguised almost as a pile of boxes, almost. (Not hard to find)
• Seeing the tube bosh from the bottom of a car to make it roll. (Also not hard to find)
• Modern things in period films, accidentally! (The buses parked in 'Last of the Mohicans')

Any more?

Those pop ups telling you what's on next or later while you're enjoying a programme. Sky used to do this a lot which is why I cancelled my subscription.

Not one to defend Sky but ALL TV stations do this these days.

And yes, it is annoying.

Oooh, the ridiculously long 'previously on...' Some programmes have, especially if they insist on doing it for the bit before the advert they forced on you!

It's a shame they all copied sky's lead but what annoyed me most about sky doing it was I was paying a subscription for the privilege of being really annoyed every time it happened.

What gets me though is it's so unnecessary, I think all systems now have a button you press & you know instantly what's on next. What idiot thought it a good idea to piss of viewers by interrupting their viewing pleasure to give information that you have at your fingertip in the first place. mad

Pixillating anything and everything for no good reason. Logos on shirts, posters on walls, numberplates, banners, faces. Pisses me off no end as either it's becoming endemic or I'm getting better at noticing it.

- When voice over guy/gal talks over the end credits, telling you in detail what is on next, yet the TV programme hasn't actually finished or has some end credits footage/out takes.

e.g. 30 Rock on Comedy Central the other day. They had a 'fake' TV commercial as part of the end credits but could you hear it? No, because voice over gal thought it was more important to witter on about what was up next.

- When the programme finishes on a cliff hanger, the credits start to roll and then they preview next weeks episode where, as part of the preview, you can either clearly see or work out the outcome of this weeks cliff hanger. Way to go guys.

e.g. True Blood on FX had a habit of doing this.

It's mainly smaller stations that make these schoolboy errors.

F'king useless.

Building the tension for a painfully long time.

And the next person to be evicted from / to go through to the next round / to be eliminated from [insert name of show here] is.......

......10 minutes later........

Not sure if it's worse when it's done in the edit rather than live and they have to use clips from several angles to make you think everyone stood for ages.

Secondly, the "coming up after the break...." followed by "before the break....."
Yes, we know, we have memories.
47 minutes of commercial TV schedule and 20 of it is telling us what's coming up and what's happened.

And Match of the Day do it too. WTF? Coming up we have Man Utd vs Manchester City and what a cracker that is, but first Bolton v Swansea, Wolves v Wigan and West Brom v Fulham. Thanks Lineker, we know that you show all the games. No need to remind us of that.

The way American versions of UK programs NEVER have a narrator, instead they rely on all of the individuals to be interviewed all the way through it - Hells kitchen for example.

It irritates the st out of me.

This. Oh, and adverts with cars debadged. WTF is that all about smash. I dont need a badge to know what car it is punch. They even go to the lengths of fitting halfords wheel trims so the original wheel centres aren't on view.

American TV is what started that now and next thing that pops up, had it onthe states years ago and it annoyed the hell outta me!

Another one, is they have a advert break just before a programme ends, then come back straight to the end credits, but then straight into the new programme titles, than immediately onto another advert break. Arrrgggghhhh!

Nie toknow that programes like Miranda combat it.
