Adrian flux discount?
Discussion
You should do if this is anything to go by;

However, I have found Adrian Flux to be laughably uncompetative whenever I got quotes from them.

They got the business on both my Mustangs this year as they were considerably cheaper than anyone else.http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a....

Have you read any of the reponses?
You do know he has just signed up to try and get a discount on his insurance. I bet he never posts any where else.
What I've noticed with flux is that they are often more expensive on run of the mill stuff but with more specialist stuff are cheaper.
They give you a discount, but you have to ring a different number for a quote, so the sceptic in me says it's the same price but the PH price is inflated before the discount.
And even if they give a discount off of a quote, it will probably still be stupidly expensive and you will probably have laughable customer service.

Specialist vehicle policies maybe but for a normal car and normal use Adrian Flux are useless.
Got a quote for my Rover domestic, social, pleasure, and commuting 8,000-10,000 miles a year. Best quote fully comp with £250 excess £634.12 (I have a bit of history), Flux quote...
£2,116
..not bad for a £500 car eh?
Still not as bad as trying to get a "classic" policy from Aviva...

So crap I'm thinking of making a t'shirt...

There's your problem, classic policies are not really set up for cars that commute 10,000 miles a year.Yes.
To be a member of pistonheads you merely have to be registered on the forums.
There is no sort of additional membership or Gold Membership that is required.
There are no fees, no membership cards or any sort additional official club membership.
You just mention pistonheads and get a 15% discount (IIRC).
If you are sceptical then get a quote, then remember pistonheads and get another.
You may find that's it's a 15% discount before the NCB, or after, or before the discount based on car/location.
It may not seem like a clear 15%.

Whenever I've tried, I've got as far as getting the price and then mentioning that I'm eligible for the 15% discount. And even if they give a discount off of a quote, it will probably still be stupidly expensive and you will probably have laughable customer service.
This has always been met with the response "Ah, that's already been included" so to help the OP, no, there is no real discount.
Just false advertising
