Couldnt find a mention on the forums (yes i did do a search) but just watched the first 2 epiodes of season 3 that my sky plus has recorded and thought it was pretty damn good. Just a bit gutted I managed to miss the first 2 series although the characters seem pretty easy to get on with.

Anyone else watching it?

Love it; started watching series 1 when it first came out but lost track after a few episodes; saw the first episode of series 3 the other week so went and downloaded (itunes, so censored ) series 1 and 2 and have been catching up since. Very good IMO and the way it is shot really pulls you in; plus it's got Buck Randalman from Band of Brothers in it - what's not to like?

Only downside is I also went and bought The Shield box set as I have (or had) fond memories of that show and remembered it being a lot like Southland is; how wrong I am when watching them back to back

It's superb! Started off hating Officer Cooper, but he really was the character of the show.

Funny i did a search and it threw no results.

Still trying to get around the names of the characters but I like the little buddy relationship of the 2 young male detectives. Also the Sgt seems pretty old school.

South land S1 + S2 was on Virgin on Demand if your a virgin XL customer. I watched it all, loved it. series 3 I think is definitely the best yet!
