Alternatively when working at Rockingham I've stayed about 20 minutes away near Morcott. Eaten here which was nice enough if you are looking for a pub. http://www.old-pheasant.co.uk/

Lots of nice villages nearby, just avoid Corby!

By your comment I assume it's in the middle of nowhere? will be heading south afterwards if that helps focus direction.
