How many cars per year?

I don't remember seeing this before, but I thought it would be interesting to see how may cars per year people have owned since passing their test.

For me, I've owned a Micra, Starlet, Mondeo, PT Cruiser (very briefly), Elise, 318i and 330Ci since 1997. That makes 0.5 cars per year.

In my defence, I'm not counting SWMBO's cars as I rarely drive them and I did have 5 years without driving whilst in edjookashun.

I think i've had about 28 cars since passing in 1996, but I've slowed down in the last few years. Not bought a car this year at all, but had 2 motorbikes since passing my test 3 months ago.

But I had my first car for 2 years, my second for 2 years, my third for 5 years and counting and my 4th for 3 months so it doesn't really tell the whole story.

Three in three years, actually although it breaks down as one for three weeks, one for nine months and the current for eighteen and I reckon probably eighteen more.
