Do these women go out of their way to make themselves as grossly unattractive as is humanly possible; possibly to counter the beauty of the contestants? Is it perhaps a form of jealousy?One of life's great mysteries, eh?

These are the people, or descendants of the people, who caused the introduction of all the 'talent' and question and answer type aspects to the 'Beauty Pageant', by causing organisers to believe that adding elements other than beauty would somehow appease the mob.I never worked and now we are stuck with their legacy; Beauty Pageant contestants that think and act as though they have a brain, and are misguided into the belief that anyone watching actually cares

Edit;
1) Yes I know it's sexist
2) no it doesn't make me sexist, though I might actually be sexist
3) no I don't watch the pageants
4) no I wouldn't waste my time even if they got rid of the 'talky' bits

Surely they should all p
s off to the States and protest about the little girls being exploited for money by their parents in kids pageants?
What women want to do with their own bodies is their choice, if they can make a living wandering about in a swimming costume good for them. I sure as hell would if I had the figure, it'd beat having to work for a living!

I have no trouble with Miss World, nor would I have any trouble with a male equivilent for the Himbos of this World.
Those that have any problem with either need to get over themseleves and usually one look, as with these lot, tells you what their real problem is...
Now if were were talking about such competitions for people under the age of 18 i would still think that they were being bitter and twisted, but would agree that they are wrong, but obviously for very different reasons.
