I had the pleasure of visiting the Zeppelin Museum in Friedrichshafen on Lake Constance last week (as part of a rally) and as soon as I wandered in I spotted this brute:









You simply wouldn't believe the size of it. To give you a sense of scale the wheels are 20'' rims. Christ knows what profile the tyres were but they were a good 8-10'' deep. It stood about 7' tall and 20' long.

I don't really know much more about the car but I'm going to have a bit of a look on the net now to see what kind of motor it is/was running.

I want one.

An interesting car , but almost identical ( apart from the spare wheels ) to the Riley RME series , any idear what year the car was built ?

either 7 litre (150bhp) or 8 litre (200bhp) V12s built 1928-34

I came across a chassis of an eight-litre in a museum in Amerang, Germany this summer ...
