Just tried to book San Carlo but fully booked. Bugger
The place opposite it www.sancarlocicchetti.co.uk is run by the same people and the food is just as good. However, you can't book so it's a case of turning up and having a drink at the bar until they sort a table. My advise is to book a table somewhere else for a bit later, then go to Cicchetti and see if you get a table. If you're successful just cancel the other booking.

bem brasil in either deansgate or northern quarter... keep the counter turned to the green side to keep getting given more meat, turn it to red when you are full!
A mate of mine raves about this place. Going to have to give it a bash some time I think.B1G GK said:

John dalton st is good (just off deansgate) 3 to choose from & all good.
Restaurant bar & grill.
Vertigo.
Grill on the Alley.
Personally I'd go to Austrialasia which is middle of deansgate and under the Armani shop (entrance is pretty cool, glass triangle sticking out of the pavement) food is excellent.
