North Cornwall for a Weekend

This weekend I am off to North Cornwall for an impromptu long weekend, we are not far from Port Isaac. Any recommendation for places to visit, we will be travelling with a 1yr old.

For a good beach walk try Daymar Bay (one of the best in Cornwall in my opionion), visit John Betjemans grave in a tiny Church behind the Beach. Walk down to the end of the Beach where you can get the ferry from Rock to Padstein.

There are some interesting places to visit nearby, Tintagel and Boscastle...

For lunch or dinner try the Port Gaverene Hotel (5-10 mins walk from Port Issac), friendly pub with good food and beer.
