944 aerial

hi there

i have a problem i am thinking of buying a porsche 944 89 F and it has a aerial in the passenger side wing is this normal. i have noticed that some have and some dont

please help cheers

Mine's the same (85 lux) although I routed my aerial activation lead through the switch for the rear windscreen wiper motor as the cog in the motor assembly is stripped so the motor's useless and I don't miss it. The reason I did that was that I could then not have the aerial up when I listened to cds (which I mainly do) and the aerial always looked a bit vulnerable to being caught on trees.

Many 944s have an aerial embedded in the windscreen. Mine has this but I'm afraid I don't know whether this was an opton or if standard which models do and don't. (Mine is an /87 944S). And if you were wondering- it seems to work very well.
