Ok, so I have had my Mk 1 Eunos for 7 years now and a couple of years ago I bought some new Wolfrace Asia Tech alloys for it which came with brand new Toyo Proxes fitted size 195/45/16. I must admit the grip these tyres gave was brilliant compared to whatever was fitted to the original alloys. However, they have only lasted 8000 miles as they are a really soft tyre and I don't exactly drive hard! Whilst I have been happy with them they are £75 a corner which I think is a lot for a tyre that does not last very long. I do not want to put ditch finders on the car as that would be a death wish so can anyone recommend a decent make of tyre at a decent price ie not Pirelli's at £98 a corner!!

Who is using what out there on their Mk 1's ?

Cheers!

on my mk1 i have Falken ZE 19s/50 15v

they are bloody brilliant, stick like glue and there about £60-£70 a tyre. had them on for almost a year with no sign of needing to change them yet.
