Hi

Wonder if anyone can help? I am currently selling my flat and my conveyancers have sent a questionaire about the lease to my management company. The questionaire consists of 16 questions, none of which are particularly complicated. The company intially asked for £150 plus VAT to address his, which seemed a little steep but not unreasonable. They are now asking for £420, which, to answer 16 questions, seems rampant profiteering.

Has anyone been in this situation and does anyone have any suggestions on how to challenge this charge?

Cheers, Paul

My Mrs had the same problem when she sold her flat..it's daylight robbery but there's not a lot you can do about it as they basically have you over a barrel.
