After being told I should watch this I got the season one box set from HMV (£15) yesterday and watched the first 3 episodes last night. I'm a bit underwhelmed tbh, It seems to be that A patient comes in, House is not interested, House is then Interested, The team cock up the diagnosis, almost kill the patient, eventually get the diagnosis right, patient lives.. then end

Are the next 5 series like this ?

Yes, but House really gets into the swing of insulting, offending and generally saying bad things to people. It grows on you.
