Performance
While we’ve still got work to do, this is much improved from yesterday and you should now experience fewer issues when accessing the main site. The ad upload facility remains slow, however, and we’re experiencing occasional hiccups as we introduce changes from time to time.
Advert visibility
We haven’t solved this one yet, although behind the scenes we’re making good progress. Everyone has been incredibly patient, and we recognise the need to have a working solution which shows all cars in the database up for the weekend. To this end we began the process this morning of re-uploading all ads to the old site (it had been a couple of days since we’d done this, so there’s a lot of data to go in). This means that we’ll have the old site waiting in the wings as a temporary solution IF we can’t get everything working on the new site for the weekend. We’ll make a final decision on this during the afternoon today.
If we do end up going back to the old site it will just be a temporary solution while we solve the data problems, and then we’ll switch the new site on once all is running well.

UPDATE:
All. Try as we might to do a 'rolling-fix' it has been decided that we will revert to the old-format for the weekend as a temporary measure, to ensure people can view the classifieds effectively.
You should see the changes on site in an hour or so, and the new-look site will return as soon as possible.
