Kettling?

I'd be as furious as them too if the passageway to Moorgate is still closed and I have to walk round The Globe....

Lovely shop (its facade should be listed). Does anyone know, was it lack of sales, or developers?

Sales (that block is about the only thing still left there after the Crossrail demolitions). It is listed.

I had a pint fo "Furry" in the Keats a few weeks ago. Very nice it was too.
Any so-called student who can afford to drink there (whilst kettled) doesn't need to be complaining about Tuition fees.

I'm guessing by the lack of violence that the threat of rubber bullets and proper crowd control worked? smile

There were A LOT of fluorescent yellow jackets about last night. When I went home, most of the riot vans were full of bored looking coppers playing Angry Birds on their iPhones.

To be honest, I'd rather that than have too few, and violence erupting. Whilst I've not done a lot of tabloid reading this morning, I think the Police and the Protestors generally behaved themselves last night. Which is a good thing.
