Din format what is it?

As the title says, with out going into to much detail i recived an email saying that the image needs to be in din format and i have no idea how to change it or even if i can

Never heard of it before but maybe something about paper size?

Wikipedia: The international paper size standard, ISO 216, is based on the German DIN 476 standard for paper sizes.

I've never heard of a .din format for file types before and can't seem to find anything relating to it.

its not a file type its a printing format...... i think

I think it is asking you to make into the same proportions as an A4 piece of paper ?

Should be able to do that in photoshop ?

ah so it is resizing, which means i cant resize a panoramic to A4 as it would distort the image

Yes a pano would need some kind of cropping

DIN is the german version of BSI. Its an organisation that creates and manages standards. They are part of ISO (its complicated, see wikipedia)

Whatever the item is your buying whould have a DIN No. which will most likely be the same or similar to an ISO standard.
