Accidentally bleaching clothes in the washing machine...
Discussion
Bit of an odd one this but hopefully someone from the PistonHeads massif might know what's causing this!
For a while now, after washing dark coloured clothes, I've noticed random bleach spots on certain items, mainly t-shirts and hoodies. It doesn't seem to be a problem with jeans, which I find strange.
The first couple of times it happened, I put it down to bad luck and presumed that I must have come into contact with bleach at some point and not realised it.
Over the past week, I've had it happen to two of my favourite Paul Smith tops - which has left me fuming!
I've used different types of washing detergent and have tried lowering the washing temperature but it's still happening. At the moment I'm using Persil capsules which are, ironically, supposed to keep dark colours dark.
It's starting to get expensive now - when it was a cheap Adidas originals hoody or t-shirt then I didn't lose much sleep but ruining well over £150 in Paul Smith gear is a bit of a hard pill to swallow!
Any ideas anyone? I've asked loads of people I know but no one has any suggestions!
Cheers
