Lightroom 3 boarder question

I dont know if i am being a complete plonker here but for the life of me I cannot create a black boarder at the top and bottom of an image using LR3. I can use a grad but it is not sharp and has a feathering to the edge that isnt any good.

Please tell me that there is a way of creating boarders without having to learn PS

You need mogrify for borders.

Sorry. I completely forgot about this posting. I had d/loaded this previously and imported it previously but nothing seemed to happen. Maybe I will have to read the install notes properly. Thanks for your help tho and apologies for not responding with appropriate thanks in a timely fashion. You'll know if I have succeeded as there'll be plenty of bordered pics posted over the weekend

You can use bits of PS quite happily.

Open image in PS, Image > Canvas size, enter numbers to increase canvas size as required, select background (ie border) colour and hit OK. Done.

I'm sorted now. I had previously downloaded the wrong version for LR3 but installed and borders popping up all over the place.
