NO TIME WASTERS

The people who put adverts on autotrader with incorrect prices, e.g.:

("PRICE IS £5495 O.N.O NO TIME WASTERS £5495. £495. ").
This really pisses me off. How can you blatantly waste people's time and then have the cheek to put "NO TIME WASTERS" at the end.

I'm tempted to call up and waste his time. Any suggestions other than arranging a viewing and not turning up?

I would say click the Report Ad button. Sadly Autotrader doesn't seem to cater for such an obvious function.

I would say click the Report Ad button. Sadly Autotrader doesn't seem to cater for such an obvious function.

I'd be doing the same. And, in the absence of such a feature, I'd be tempted to call him up to waste his time. ("Hello, that really bargain BMW ... I'd love to come and see it. Is it still for sale? What's wrong with it? I'll be there in 20 minutes with cash ... ")

Lower fee for "bargain cars" - under £1k or so iirc. I wouldn't look at ads like this on principle - if you're too stingy to pay to advertise your car, then what else have you skimped on??

Or similarly, dealers/traders (it usually is, rather than private sellers) omitting mileage completely as if it's an afterthought that nobody really minds about. No, it does not mean I'll make an enquiry to find out - it means I'll skip on to the next one.
