XBox Premium 20Gb - What's It Worth?

I've now run out of space on my 20GB hard drive - I've been incredibly cautious in my usage, but a mixture of Forza 4 and BF3 have pushed my storage requirements to the limit! Following on from my 'Sainburys 25% Off XBox' thread, I'm tempted to buy a new 250GB unit, rather than invest in a new hard drive for an old Xbox.

However, just wondering what my current console is worth? Is it worthless? It's a 2 year old, mint condition premium 20Gb console with an Official XBox wireless dongle. I'd only sell it with one controller too, which is in a 'well used' condition What do you think? I might just give it to a mate who is after one!

Also, is the transfer of gamer profile, save games and DLC content easy to do? Do I need to buy anything extra cable-wise? Oh, and do the VIP/Online codes transfer across too? I'd hate to move everything across to a new XBox and find that Dirt3/F1 2011/BF3 then require 800MSP for me to get back online again!

Do I need a hard drive transfer cable to move everything across, or can I migrate the data with a memory stick? Also, will games that required a key to enable online play still allow me to play online with the new console?

You can use a memory stick or a portable hard drive to move your data across, you will have to let the xbox format it though. The only limit is you can transfer up to 16gb using this method.

Just been in exact same boat ,£31 later I have a 120gb drive and transfer cable from cex. Didn't know about using usb stick so would of only cost 25 for Tue drive. Could of got a 250gb drive for £40 but non were in stock.
