This may sound a bit picky, but is anyone else obsessed with finding a table when eating out that does not wobble? Drives me mad, and I will move around until I find one which doesn't. If I can't find one, then I will fold up a menu from the table and stuff it under one of the feet so it is nice and steady. I can't be the only one - can I?

A three-legged table wouldn't wobble.

A lot of new restaurant tables come fitted with adjustable feet - very often it's the floor that isn't level.

Just get the waiting staff to sort it. Pistonhead's, delegation matters!

You should try my place! Every table wobbled. Grade II listed building with 400 year old wooden floors that are so uneven we had a local chippy knock up 40 hardwood wedges. FOH staff carry a couple in their back pocket at all times.

Very slick when a waiter whips our a purpose made wedge to stop the slightest wobble on your table as they put your drinks down laugh
