all brake lights not working 2002 Picasso

my mothers Picasso has no brake lights they just stopped working. looked in the manual for the fuse that services the brake lights but cant find any that mention brake lights. any ideas

Check the switch on the peddle, I suspect it's pooped.

Did they all stop working at once,or did they go out one at a time and nobody told you/she about them untill the last one had failed? 4 times out of 5 it's the latter and just 2-3 blown bulbs and customers rarely believe me; The remaining time it's the switch on the pedal.

This. Always check the bulbs first.
