Hi all,

New to this site, just wanted a bit of advice and as I'm not sure where's best to post this I don't want to be branded a spammer.

I am aware that Ferrari/Lamborghini body kits can be adapted for Toyota MR2. Understandably, I am a little bit in love with the Ferrari 458 Italia and wondered whether there were any similar kits in existence?

I hope someone can point me in the right direction despite this being a potential dignity damager.

Thanks,

Paul

I would very much have liked to avoid writing such a socially suicidal comment but in the absence of a spare £200,000 I had no other choice

So you want a car that looks like a 458 until you start it or drive it in anyway? worse than people buying a boxter because they can't afford a 911 wink

We all like the 458, and most of us dont have a spare 200k either. But we have enough dignity to not stick a body kit on a bloody mr2! keep it standard, its a fairly good car. Sticking a 458 bodykit that will make it look nothing like one, will ruin it and make people laugh at you frown

just to warn you this website errs more towards "performance" modifications as opposed to adding heavy body kits.

A MR2 is a good car, spend the money on some huge turbos or other performance mods.......

Would you not feel embarrassed coming to a PH meet and parking next to the real thing?

Very much that. A supercharged V6 will go in the engine bay of an MR2 with a bit of messing around, and then it would go like a Ferrari, which is after all the important bit.

Kit + base car will be about 15-20k I reckon.

Why not just get a Cayman or summats?
