Ted should provide a long service medal for 10,000.

Better not show it to your boss when you get one Dusty !

32 minutes

7777 / 16 mnths = 486
486 / 30 = 16 (posts per day)
16 / 8hours = 30 min between posts.

You held out for 2 minutes !!

She isn't counting the ones that are complete bks - you've probably still got a fair way to go to reach the target.

Yep, you got away with that one!

However, a little extra effort is required from you today to make up for the lack of postings yesterday evening! Fancy letting a footie match get in the way of PH'ing...whatever next?

Btw...great piccie on your profile, very artistic.

Football is great! I only just realised how good it is.

Last night when the game started I got the Tiv out the garage and went for a play.

THERE WAS NO TRAFFIC!

Fantastic!
I even got to practice my standing starts on a big long empty rural stretch.

I want more Championship Football Tournaments!
Was gutted England got knocked out, no more quiet roads!

Excellent stuff! I did this when England played their first match on a Sunday evening. As you say, it was fantastic. A bit spooky really in many ways, I've never seen the A272 so empty! Had a play with a couple of Porsches and a Merc convertible but apart from that there was nobody around. Driving past the pubs at half-time was fun...all the guys cheered at me as I drove past!

Funnily enough no one from any pubs cheered me when it was in extra time. Think it must have been the tension!

I watched the last bit and was upset that they lost. No more empty roads!

Yeah, no more empty roads...hey ho Oh well, at least I can say that Sunday evening was the most enjoyable drive of my life, to date!

Well done, nice one. Its great when you get that feeling.

Funnily enough my greatest drive was also the A272 in your neck of the woods.
The drives out into the country around Le Mans were good fun too. You should join us next year. We had 54 people this year and it was a really good crowd. They are mostly all coming back for more too.

A tent? On a campsite?

Seriously though, I'll give it some consideration. It depends if Trev behaves between now and then and whether he's traded in for a Porsche!

We'd even let you in if you do buy a squashed beatle!

This year we had all sorts.
Only 3 tivs out of 24 cars.

There was a 1977 911 there and it was very very nice and incredibly quick.

I just noticed on Ted’s profile he has posted just over 15000 times and he’s been a member for 6 years !!

Dusty has past 8000 and he’s only been a member for a year and a half !!

Surly this deserves recognition or treatment, I don’t know which ?
