idiosyncrasies that you have when driving

What's yours? Mine is when I get in the car if the ipod is 1/2 way through a song I will always 100% fast forwards to the next track.

The volume on stereo is only ever at levels divisable by 5.

Ie on 30,35,40 if pumping choon.;)

I frequently wander along in a daydream to find I have driven miles past my destination. Automatic (ie brainless) driving takes me miles out of my way.

Been doing it for years: I suppose I ought to get Sat Nav and follow instructions.

Particularly true when I drive in areas I know well.

If I am driving to an unusual location, I never do this. Only when I am meandering about.

Cruise control must be set slightly higher than the indicated speed I'm aiming at, so 60mph will be 63 on the dial, because I know from my GPS that when my speedo says I'm doing 60 I'm not actually doing 60 and that infuriates me.

I need the air vents in the correct position that they are supposed to be in relation to the dashboard, if that makes sense.

Not bothered about the volume number though.

I dont think theres anything i do which is particularly intresting.

i always set off then put seat belt on.

i also like to wheel spin outside schools.

If the electric windows are open,they have to be open by the same distance on both sides of the car.

And then when I close the windows, I'll press the buttons, the windows close, but a couple of seconds later I'll always press the buttons again, just to be sure they're closed.

I can see from the revs relative to the speed what gear I'm likely to be in, but I still look at the gearstick just to be sure.

I don't go in for all this climate being on the same temperature either side though. I don't have that feature anyway

I like to murder a lady of the night every couple of gear changes. I'm not sure whether that's an idiosyncrasy or something more sinister though

always select 2nd gear before putting in 1st before setting off,'pump' the brakes and always,always double clutch before selecting reverse gear(from learning in a mini)

Keeping a good distance (2 secs - say) from the vehicle in front on a motorway.

650 miles per week on the M6 and M6 Toll tells me this is idiosyncratic behaviour.

Similarly, I always look at the temperature gauge often, even in newish cars. It's what comes with having my first 3 cars overheat and die. Bordering on paranoia.
