DBS Owners: Does boot carpet color match interior carpet?

I'm pretty certain that the DB9 boot carpet color matches that of the interior carpet, but I don't think that is equally true for the DBS. Can anyone confirm?

If the DBS boot doesn't match, I find that extremely odd considering the price of the car.

Curious to hear the answer.

Just checked mine, would say the boot carpet is slightly darker but i would put that down to sun bleaching perhaps. That said, i dont quite see the issue.

On my db9 I've got sandstorm interior with sandstorm carpets but the boot carpet is plain old black

From the response, it appears that at some point during DB9 production, the boot carpet color was changed from matching the chosen interior carpet color to just plain black, and that the DBS has only been black from the get go.

My 2006 DB9 had Caspian Blue interior carpets with boot to match. But that was not a special order as far as I can tell; it's just the way they came from the factory at that time. But the couple of DB9s reported here, plus all of the DBS's have black boot carpet regardless of the interior carpet color (unless special ordered for the boot to match).

Just curious about when this change might have occurred...
