Hello

We have some land near our house which I have a right to buy, but the seller is refusing the sell...

anyone been in this position? what did you do? and can you recommend any legal firms (current solicitor is useless) with experience of this kind of issue?

cheers,

UV

Seems a bit odd, how come you have the right to buy some land?

I think you need to give some more details.

are you sure you don't have right of first refusal which is far more common than the right to force someone else to sell you land at the time of your choosing

If you have a valid call option I would suggest that the solicitor who drafted it should be capable of enforcing it.

If it's just a verbal assurance that you have a right of first refusal, that's totally unenforceable.
